So, I was all set for the seminar. All I needed was some small bills to use for making change from book sales. I dropped off my wife at the pharmacy and headed to the bank across the street. I took the small bills from the drive-through teller and went to pick up my better-half. I stopped at the red light and contemplated my day. And BOOM! I got hit from behind. As I dialed 911, I got out of the car and looked back at the shiny yellow Hummer H2 that slammed into me. Not much you can do in those situations; except wait for the police to complete a report. Although my wife's 2011 Hyundai Sonata was significantly damaged, it carried us to South Miami.

When I arrived, I wasn't expecting the greeting that I received in the parking lot. I was met by a former student of mine. The last time I saw him he was about 12 years old. Now, 15 years later, he's quite grown and has two children of his own. The love he expressed for me during those moments was quite touching, and we spent the next four hours together. I thank the Lord God for allowing me to mentor young people, it gives life a significant meaning.

I'm getting ready for the Dynamic Striking seminar that I'm facilitating today in Miami. I look forward to meeting new faces that will include some young aspiring fighters. I hope to share some of the knowledge that I have amassed over the past 33 years. Who knows, my advice may influence a future world champion.

I contemplate the future, when I'm no longer able to move swiftly enough to impress the upcoming prospects, and thank God for the "digital age." I can always show video highlights of my glory days. And when I'm gone, the literary works that I am creating will be left behind, and hopefully used as reference material for the coming generations.
